Sydney, 22 July 2019: Humanforce, a Sydney based global provider of workforce management solutions, has today announced the appointment of Clayton Pyne as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Clayton, who has extensive experience in leadership roles within tech giants such as IBM and, most recently, Cisco, joins the company immediately. During his successful career in New York, and the Asia Pacific and Japan region, Clayton has been responsible for leading sales, marketing, product and partner teams across the world. And in 2017, he was crowned an AFR BOSS Young Executive of the Year.
Humanforce Founder and MD, Bruce Mackenzie, said the appointment of Clayton as a proven international business leader was a critical one that would support the global growth ambitions of the business in the rapidly evolving HR technology sector.
“The addition of Clayton to our leadership team brings a wealth of knowledge and experience not just locally but internationally,” said Bruce. “I have no doubt that he will make a measurable impact at Humanforce and help accelerate our growth journey.”
The appointment comes at an exciting time for Humanforce, with the company achieving 40% revenue growth year-on-year over the past five years, and recently securing A$22.5M in growth equity investment from Accel-KKR, a leading Silicon Valley technology-focused investment firm. The funding is helping Humanforce rapidly expand its operations in Europe, Asia and North America, building on its successful entrance into these markets.

As the newly appointed CEO, Clayton’s key focus will be to deliver Humanforce’s company strategy, with a specific focus on innovation related to the contingent workforce revolution, exceptional customer experiences, strengthening ecosystem partnerships, and ensuring Humanforce continues to grow and expand in new markets.

Clayton completed his Executive MBA at NYU Stern School of Business, lives in Sydney with his wife and two young children.
